The Jamra Foundation was created as a way to address the needs of the people in communities like the one we came from. Small, rural communities that are scattered all over the country of Ghana, filled with people who work hard but are often destined to continue a cycle of poverty. We aim to lift them up to a brighter future through empowering them education, mentoring, and a focus on helping them fulfill their most basic needs.

“…The blessings we have, it’s important to pay them forward.”

— Benjamin Ofori-Amoah, FOUNDER & President

We provide financial support and mentoring to school-age youth who are interested in pursuing careers in STEM, service-based social sciences, and skilled trades.

Our Work

In communities where so much is needed, a little can go a long way. We focus on the donation of basic supplies, the provision of seed funding for businesses, and most importantly, educational scholarships so that the most needy are not prevented from their dreams due to lack of funds.
